What Being a Real Estate Agent Means to Me
Real Estate is so much more to me than selling houses.
My true passion is helping people change their personal worldview. I truly believe my purpose is to keep those in my sphere of influence from experiencing any unnecessary negativity in their lives.
As the son of a long line of immigrant Italians who lived to serve, I was raised to understand those things my family deemed important. Those things are: compassion, self-discipline, positivity, willpower, work ethic, and most importantly family. As an aside, I am a third-generation realtor, so those values came from my parents and their parents’ passion to serve in that way, in that industry. I only discovered recently how those values and that purpose are a part of my DNA.
A home to me is more than the number of bedrooms and bathrooms—it is a backdrop of great memories for the family that lives there. Memories of roasting marshmallows by the fire, enjoying a weekend cookout, summertime in the pool, family dinners, playing in the backyard (not staring at an iPad screen), bedtime stories, and prayers before bed.
Growing up in a loving family myself, all I ever wanted to be was a dad. I believe that it is more important to mean everything to someone that it is to just mean something to everyone. So, when I got married, it only made sense that my dad would be my best man. When my dad died a year after the wedding on my 26th birthday, my desire to make a positive impact on the world was set in motion.
God has blessed me with wisdom & understanding. The values I have learned and put into practice, building my own successful real estate business, have made me a better man, husband, and father. I now understand that it is not what we leave for our children that matters, it’s what we leave in them.
The most stressful time in a homeowner’s life is when they buy or sell their home. This is why we need, as real estate professionals, to understand this and work to make this important transaction a stressless experience for the client. Caring more for the client, understanding their needs and making sure we are serving them, as if they were family, is the key to success.
I want to share my success with you and show you how to build a successful real estate business that matches your values and delivers the most positive results for your clients.
Sincerely,
Bobby Paolini
